Sterling Silver and Bokote Wood Cufflinks
The modern sterling silver cufflinks have solid links with hinged torpedoes and rectangular heads. They are set with an off-centre strip of bokote wood (dark brown African hardwood). The cufflinks are marked “925” for sterling grade silver. The cufflinks were handmade by Ivan Mrkusic of Johannesburg.
