Large 14ct Gold Citrine and Diamond Pendant
The modern 14ct yellow gold pendant has a hinged bale and is in the shape of a bunch of berries with leaves. All the elements of the pendant are hinged so as to allow articulated movement. It is set with seven citrine (marquise-shape in an unusual cut, with bridge facets creating an overall chequerboard effect; 8.5 x 6.0mm – 0.65ct each). The pendant has three leaves which are rhodium-plated on the front and are pave-set with ten, small, brilliant-cut, diamonds each (circa 0.30ct in total). The pendant is unmarked but has been electronically scanned and tests to be 14ct yellow gold.
