Antique 15ct Two-Colour Gold and Pearl Bar-Brooch
The early 20th Century, 15ct yellow and white gold bar-brooch is in the form of a riding crop and is primarily made of yellow gold but has applied white gold decoration. It is mounted with a yellow gold horse-shoe which is set with ten seed pearls (circa 2.5mm diameter). The brooch is marked “15ct”. The brooch has been electronically scanned: the front was found to be 15ct gold, and the needle tests to be 9ct gold.
