Sterling Silver and Amber Necklace
The modern sterling silver necklace has a three-element, hinged, centrepiece each tube-set with round, teardrop and navette-shaped, cabochon polished, amber of colours ranging from light to dark honey and green. All the sixteen pieces of amber have some inclusions. The centrepiece is suspended from two sections of silver snake chain with a dog-clip closure. The necklace is marked “925” on the dog-clip.
