Antique Art Nouveau Silver and Enamel Pendant

The antique, shaped, sterling silver pendant is in the Art Nouveau style and was made using the “basse-taille” enamelling technique with light green and white enamel flower decoration. The pendant has a small, fixed loop and a hinged ring bale. The main pendant supports a hinged small pendant with similar enamelling. The pendant has Birmingham sterling silver marks with the date letter for 1913 and the maker’s mark for J. Aitkin and Son.
