Sterling Silver, Black Spinel and Marcasite Bracelet

The modern bracelet has a decorative, sterling silver centrepiece with an open-work, floriate design set with marcasite and black spinel. The centrepiece is connected to a sterling silver trombone closure by eight strands of faceted spinel beads. The rear of the centrepiece also features two loops to one side, as well as a pin, so that it could be used alternatively as a pendant or brooch if the bracelet strands are removed. The bracelet is marked “925” inside the centrepiece and on the closure.
