Vintage 18ct Yellow Gold and Carved Smoky Topaz Ring

The large, vintage 18ct yellow gold ring is set with single piece of smoky topaz (circa 24mm x 15mm; 20ct) that is raised, rectangular, bow-shaped, and has grooves carved vertically and horizontally to create the illusion of a multi gemstone setting. The ring is unmarked but has been electronically scanned and confirmed that it is 18ct yellow gold.
