18ct Gold and Amazonite Peruvian “Tumi” Pendant
The modern, 18ct yellow gold pendant is a Peruvian hand-crafted image of the Inca sun god, Inti, standing on a symbolic Tumi. The Tumi was an Incan weapon, but could also be used by healers. The Tumi pendant is supposed to bring good luck. The Tumi is set with a green stone, believed to be amazonite. The pendant has a small fixed loop and a hinged V-bale at the top. The pendant is marked “750” for 18ct yellow gold.
