The antique, Art Nouveau era, 15ct gold brooch has an open-work design and is set with three round-cut pink tourmaline (2 x circa 0.12ct; 1 x circa 0.05ct); one emerald-cut green tourmaline (6mm x 4.5mm - circa 0.6ct); and three round old-cut diamonds (circa 0.15ct total). The brooch is marked “779” and has another, hour-glass shaped mark. The brooch has been confirmed as 15ct gold by electronic scan.
