Vermeil and Amethyst Necklace by Beryl Dingemans

The vintage, chunky, vermeil (gilded metal) necklace is made up of an endless (no clasp) large link cable chain, with attached pendants. There is a clip attached to one of the links which can be clipped into one of the other links to vary the effective length of the necklace. There are small, somewhat mushroom-shaped pendants; small and medium sized pendants set with uncut amethyst; and a central pendant with a large slice of an amethyst geode, as well as a cluster of medium sized amethyst pendants. The necklace has a small disk marked “Beryl Dingemans” (scripted) attached. Beryl Dingemans is a well-regarded jeweller living in Johannesburg.
