The modern sterling silver necklace is made up of a figaro style chain with bolt-ring closure and a sterling silver, marcasite, and onyx pendant. The pendant is in a stylised, foliate design and is tube-set with three cabochon polished, round, onyx (circa 4.0mm diameter). The pendant has a decorated front bale, and the bale and pendant are decorated with marcasite. The necklace is marked “925” on the pendant (poorly struck) and on the chain.
