The modern, partly gold-plated, sterling silver earrings each have a shepherd’s hook. Each silver hook supports a gold-plated silver, dished, tear-drop shaped element set with a small, round, fresh water pearl (circa 3.5mm diameter). This element, in turn supports a polished, heart-shaped, amber (approximately 17.7mm x 16.5mm x 5.5mm – dark honey colour). The hooks are marked “925”.
