Peter Gilder 18ct Gold Lapis Lazuli and Turquoise Butterfly Brooch
The large, modern, designer brooch is in the form of a stylised butterfly. It is set with lapis lazuli and what appears to be turquoise or possibly ajoite (circa 26.67ct – 5.33g). The brooch is marked “PG; 18ct” and has what appears to be a cherry and leaf mark. These marks show that the brooch was designed and made, in 18ct gold, by Peter Gilder of Constantia Centre, Cape Town.
