The modern 9ct rose-gold drop earrings are unique and were hand-made by John Klynsmith of Cape Town. They have pins and butterflies and are in the form of stylised leaves both on the stud and on the pendant. They are each set with three diamonds (on the studs – circa 0.16ct each; on each pendant – 2 x 0.14ct; all diamonds circa colour J; clarity SI1. Total weight of diamonds 0.88ct). The earrings are marked “9ct; KLYNSMITH” on the earrings and “9ct” on the butterflies.
