Sterling Silver and Amber Drop Earrings 

The modern, sterling silver drop earrings have poles and butterflies. Each has a small, silver, bead with a fixed small loop, attached to the pole. This supports a curved down-comer, which, in turn, supports a pendant. The pendant is dish-shaped with an open back and an amber bead fixed inside (6mm diameter; honey-coloured with some inclusions). One butterfly is marked “925”.
