Sterling Silver and Jet Necklace
 
The modern necklace is made up of 55 round jet beads, slightly graduated to the front (8mm diameter at the back; 9.5mm at the front) with a lobster-claw sterling silver closure. There are two small silver beads either side of the closure. The clasp is marked “925”.
